Referral Program:
Lapalme Web Solutions' referral program allows a partner to earn money by referring hosting clients to our service.
By joining the referral program, you (as a referral partner) would be entitled to receive 20% of each recurring payment made by each hosting client you refer to us.
In addition to this, you will also receive a free Hosting Package (Plan 1) for your own personal or business use. The space may be used to host your own website, and to stage potential client sites. You may keep your free hosting package as long as you actively refer paying customers to us.
Recurring Fees:
Upon joining the program, a partner account will be created in our referral program. This account will keep a record of all fees earned and all payments made, along with a running total of the current unpaid balance, and a list of active and past referred clients. Each payment received by a referred client for any hosting package qualifies for a referral fee. The referral fee issued to the partner is equal to 20% of the amount paid by the client before taxes. For example, if a referred client makes a $10 payment each month, a $2 payment will be added to the partner's account each month after the $10 payment is received. When the partner account's unpaid balance reaches $20, a payment will be issued to the partner. For Canadian partners, payments may be issued via PayPal or cheque; for American partners, the payment will be issued via PayPal only. Please allow up to 72 hours for payment processing.
Free Hosting Package:
Each partner will receive one free Basic hosting package (Plan 1 on the Home Page) on the date they are approved in the referral program. The hosting package will remain active for up to TWO MONTHS from the approval date. If no referral is received within those two months, the hosting account will be revoked. Once a payment is received from a referred client, the hosting account will remain active for up to one year from the day of the first payment. From that point on, the hosting account will remain active, free of charge to the partner, as long as the partner has brought in at least one new paying referral within the last twelve calendar months.
Featured Sites:
Our website features a 'Featured Sites' page. This page is a directory of client sites who have agreed to appear on the Featured Sites page. We are happy to add your own site (if hosted by us), along with the sites of any referred client, at no cost. Featured sites are also rotated on the front page.
Identification of Referred Clients:
It is the partner's responsibility to notify us of referred clients. The clients may enter the name of their referral on our sign-up page, but in many cases this does not occur, or the client enters incorrect information into the referral box. As a result, we expect our partners to notify us of any client or potential client signup. Paretners can do so by logging-into their partner account and entering the name, email address or company/organization name of any client they have referred to us. Once entered, we will actively monitor for existing or new sign-ups matching the description entered by the partner. When a match is found it will automatically be linked to the partner's account. If a partner fails to notify us of a referred client and the client fails to properly enter the referral's name in the referral box at sign-up, a grace period of up to seven (7) days will be given to the partner. During those seven days, if the partner successfully notifies us of the referred client, the partner will receive any fee owed for payments received during those seven days. After the seven day grace period, any payment already received will not qualify for a fee. However, future fees may still be collected if the partner notifies us. In some cases, a verification of referral claim may be performed by contacting the client directly. Any referred client may be revoked from the partner's account, at our discretion.
Cancelled Payments, Charge-Backs:
If a referred client's payment is reversed in any way, the fee paid to the referral partner would likewise be revoked. For example, if a client makes a $10 payment, a $2 fee would be added to the partner's account. If the hosting client later reverses their payment, the $2 fee would be removed from the partner's account as well.
Terms of Service:
The Partner, like all clients, must agree to our Terms of Service policy. This policy, including all cancellation clauses, apply to the Free Hosting Package mentionned above. Further to this, a referral partner will be removed from the program if they use their free hosting package to host websites other than their own for profit.
This program is available to all Canadian and US citizens.
